First Visitors!
Towards the end of our first month in Europe, we had our first visitors - Nonny and Grandpa! We had a couple of weekend excursions planned for their visit and the first was to The Netherlands to see the tulips. We rented a van and piled in for the two hour trip to the town of Gouda. The next day, we visited Keukenhof Gardens to see the tulips in action. During the week, Nathan headed to the Belgian coast with the rest of his class on their class trip for a few days of beach fun, while the rest of us stayed in Brussels. On the following weekend, it was back to Ghent for another day of exploring our favorite Belgian town! Mussels and Champagne at the Vrijdagmarkt Square. Hotel views were not bad!
