Medieval Times: 24 hours in Ghent

In and Around Brussels

Image
After our weekend in Antwerp, we have spent some time getting used to life in Brussels. This is our house, in the Watermael Boitsfort neighborhood on the south side of Brussels. The kids started school this week at The International School of Brussels. Nathan and I went to the final home match of the season for Union Saint Gilloise. We spent the day on Saturday wondering around the city center and visited the Grand Place and went to a Lego exhibition - The Art of the Brick. We then got a snack and strolled through the gardens at the Mont de Arts and Parc de Bruxelles near the Royal Palace. On our way home, we discovered a small garden in our neighborhood. After a long day, it was time for pizza and ice cream.
