Paris

Our first big weekend excursion we planned was to Paris. We quickly decided that one weekend wasn't enough and since Grandma Cordy would coincidentally be in Paris the following weekend, we decided to come back for a second weekend!

On our first night, we wandered around and saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.

The next day was a surprise trip to Disneyland Paris.

Too much magic for these guys!

The next day started with a long wait in line to take the elevator up the Eiffel Tower

After an exhausting morning, it was time for a relaxing picnic and stroll through the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Later it was dinner and a stroll around the Louvre.

The next morning we headed to the Musee d'Orsay, followed by a walk along the Siene, the Jardin des Tuileries and Royal Palace.
We hopped the train back to Brussels for a short week and then came back to meet up with Grandma!

We made the trek to Monmarte to visit Sacre Coeur and the kids decided their must-have souvenir was a pencil sketch.

He's not as grumpy as he looks.

Multiple stops for ice cream

The kids were massively disappointed that we did not see the Mona Lisa last weekend, so we managed to make it inside the Louvre this weekend.
