We headed to Switzerland for a long weekend in September. We started our journey with a scenic train ride on the Golden Pass Express from Geneva to Interlaken. From Interlaken, we took a train to Lauterbrunnen for our base at the floor of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The views from our place were not too bad. On our first day, we took the cable car to Grütschlap (1487m), the a train to Mürren (1634m), and finally a furnicular to Allmendhubel (1932m). Once we arrived at Allmendhubel, we were greeted with an amazing playground and strategically located lodge with a patio next to the playground. Our first big weekend excursion we planned was to Paris. We quickly decided that one weekend wasn't enough and since Grandma Cordy would coincidentally be in Paris the following weekend, we decided to come back for a second weekend! On our first night, we wandered around and saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. The next day was a surprise trip to Disneyland Paris. Too much magic for these guys!
